In this online workshop, we are going to talk about Transactions and Concurrency Control Patterns when using PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, and SQL Server.
Here's the list of topics that we will cover:
- How data anomalies can be speculated by hackers
- ACID
- Anomalies (Read Skew, Write Skew, Lost Update, Dirty Read, Non-Repeatable Read, Phantom Read)
- Locking, Deadlocking
- 2PL (Two-Phase Locking),

Technical requirements
It is recommended to bring your own notebook so that you can configure and run tests associated with the material we are going to go through in this training.
The online workshop is going to be run as a Zoom Meeting.
